NOVA – Network Of Victim’s Assistance provides assistance, counseling and empowerment to victims of sexual assault and other serious crimes. NOVA works to prevent and eliminate violence through advocacy, training, community education and prevention programs. The Greater Newtown Exchange Club (GNEC) supports NOVA’s efforts through both funding and hands-on efforts, such as our recent partnership in creating a Pinwheel Prevention Garden (for the prevention of child abuse).
A WOMAN’S PLACE – A Woman’s Place provides a full range of assistance and support services for Bucks County victims of domestic abuse and violence and their children, including a free 24-hour confidential hotline, a full-service residential shelter, individual and group counseling, legal and medical advocacy, and a children’s program. GNEC supports this organization through regular funding efforts.

  • FSA – Family Service Association supports Bucks County residents by providing services to promote mental health and wellness, to reduce substance abuse, to prepare children and teens for the future, to protect the elderly, to improve the quality of life for people with HIV/AIDS, to provide opportunities for adults and to strengthen communities. GNEC supports FSA through regular funding efforts.
THE NATIONAL EXCHANGE CLUB FOUNDATION – The National Exchange Club Foundation was established in 1979 to help advance the National Exchange Club’s Programs of Service, and its national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse. The NEC Foundation, through its network of 75 Exchange child abuse prevention centers, has helped more than 1.8 million children and 778,400 families break the cycle of child abuse. As a participating Exchange Club member, GNEC contributes to the Foundation.
